The download is a signed and notarized disk image. Open it and move Latis into Applications. macOS verifies the Developer ID signature on first launch.

Latis also needs a browser installed: Google Chrome, Chromium, Microsoft Edge or Brave. It does not bundle a web engine, and it drives the one you have to render artifacts, the charts, tables and clickable pages an agent publishes to you, in a pane beside the outline. If yours lives somewhere unusual, set LATIS_CHROME to its executable. Without one an artifact still opens, in your default browser, but only the pane lets the page talk back: comments, agent dispatch and outline access all live there. See Requirements.
